Edu Society: Jurnal Pendidikan, Ilmu Sosial dan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat is open access and peer-reviewed journal focusing on Sustainable Community-Based Education. Investigating the dynamics of the world of education with a focus on Sustainable Community-Based Education in the form of research reports, both local (national) and global (international). Published 3 times a year, namely February-May, June-September, and October-January.
The focus and scope of Edu Society encompass the study of community-based education, with a particular emphasis on the mainstreaming of lifelong learning. This includes an examination of the philosophy of education, support for family-based education, educational outreach for diverse communities (in urban, rural, coastal, mountainous, and maritime areas), lifelong learning for children, and various contemporary issues related to family education.
Edu Society has been published by Permapendis North Sumatra, since 2021. Through this study, it is hoped that the Edu Society can be part of the implementation of on the mainstreaming of Sustainable Community-Based Education.
